How we are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places - pdf. This describes the 13 buildings on Main Street that have the distinction of being on the Registry. In 2016, the Tampico Historic Preservation Advisory Committee presented each building with an exterior bronze plaque noting its listing on the registry. In addition to this plaque, the Ronald Reagan Birthplace was also presented with a larger bronze plaque noting it was the birthplace of the only president born in Illinois. THPAC board members at the time were Denise McLoughlin, Chairman; Denise Brooks, Secretary; Gary Pearson, Vice Chairman; Dana Fellows and Julie Deetz.
