From THE TROJAN year book:

Seniors

Gudgell --A quiet, unassuming chap with an earnest smile. A steady and persistent athlete in basketball, who came through as a letterman this year. Presides over the Senior Class. Navy has its eyes on him.

Devine--has beautiful brunette tresses. Is convinced that she is joining the U. S. Nurses Cadet Corps.

Bollivar--Lively in more than one way. Thinks he'll stay on the farm. A "must" when it comes to play casting.

Buchanan--Goes in for history. Nothing is too hard to do. Often see her conversing with members of the opposite sex.

Day--"Daley." A piece of dynamite. Whatever comes to  his mind must be spoken. His tenor voice is very enchanting. Aspires to the ministry. Wonders why no one can get along with a mother-in-law.

Johnson--Known as "Bev." Noted for being an "absentee.: Good athlete but studies do not appeal to her. A good singer and piano player.

Fullerton--Quite a hunk of man! Believes in letting the teacher do all the work. Has sworn off forgery and playing hookey. Is ready at a minute's notice to assist you in getting moved.

Lewis--An additon last year from Fulton. Blond and athletic with a mischievous grin. Has a hankering to be a nurse. Our guess is that she'll make a good one. Specialtizes in ping-pong.

Bennett--Good looking additon to senior class. Manager of basketball team makes him popular with the fairer sex. Very reliable, but dislikes tests. Hopes the Coast Guard will take him.

Johnson--Quiet and reserved but makes her fingers talk on the typewriter. Has her eyes on a nurse's course, but wishes the schools would permit one to enter at age of sixteen.

Musche--Easy on the eyes. Seems quiet but just get her started. Could be a good student if health did not interfere.

Bowen--Bashful and tall. Is a pianist-par excellence. She is struggling for her "pardon papers" (diploma). Can't see why teachers have to give such long assignments.

Berge--"Larry." Just an all around good fellow. Studying isn't one of his strong points. Has a "hard" to get angry with" grin. Seen around the halls with one of the fairer sex. If the services must have him, his yen is to be a Navy man.

Mathis--Is she ambitious!--wants to be a school teacher. Likes classical myths and mathematics. Keeps herself financially embarrassed buying films to get pictures of her  many friends.

Kuepker--"Kep." There's a student for you. Works hard every day but cannot put it on paper. Basketball captain. Will miss his next year when the athletes perform. Thought he would enter a medical school but the war has changed it to radar.

Rosene--Blond hair, brown eyes. Possesses originality, reliabitlity. Delights in plaid skirts.

Kerber--Our "fifth" year student. Enjoys night air, especially whizzing hither and yon. Revels  in a good argument--sometimes wins too!

Rosene--Hair arranging is an art of hers. Would like to put it to use as an operator. Is "Miss Efficiency-Plus" when she is placed on a refreshment committee. Has singing ability.

Pierson--"Ray"  son of the soil. Like father-like son, Raymond will possibly be a farmer. Quite popular with the fairer sex these days. Surprised the whole school with his ability to give humerous readings.

White--"Jim." Never hurries anywhere. Has a head only  to carry his hat. Witty answers to questions are his delight. Thinks town of Thomas all right to spend Friday and Saturday evenings. Password when sternly eyed by teachers is a wide-eyed "I didn't say a thing."
