Paul and Helen Nicely were responsible for Tampico having the Reagan Birthplace & Museum as well as the Tampico Historical Society. More information will be available soon.

Helen (Woods) Nicely was the daughter of R. F. Woods - president of the Tampico First National Bank. This bank was originally located on the west side of Main Street, but eventually traded places with a bakery on the east side of Main Street. It is now the Reagan Birthplace & Museum. The original blue prints of the bank were found in the basement of the building. The Bank has been restored to its original layout - It is a "must-see" if you are in the area!
