Marvin Ackeberg

Private Marvin Ackerberg is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fingal Ackeberg of Sheffield. He was born February 10,1920. He attended the Yorktown grade school and the Tampico High School from whch he graduated in 1938. Prior to entering the service, he worked at home and also for the Service Rubber Company at Rock Island. He was inducted into the service February 18, 1942. On August 17 he graduated from the New England aircraft school at Boston, Mass., where he took a course in air mechanics. He was stationed at Fort Dix, N. J. and has now been sent to an undesignated base overseas.
