JOHNSON located on the road between Thomas and New Bedford, Fairfield Twp, Bureau County. WILLIAM G. JOHNSON was the Great grandfather of Lyle GUDGELL, my husband, and Lyle attended school in that schoolhouse during his first year of schooling, which must have been about 1926/27. Lyle lived with his grandmother, MARY MATILDA (JOHNSON) GUDGELL until she died 16 Nov. 1927. I love your site... Vivian Gudgell
