Birthplace - Front Room

The front room of the Ronald Reagan Birthplace became an important meeting place for friends of the Reagan family. The front 2 windows of this room were where Nelle Reagan aand her friends viewed the hustle and bustle of a pioneering horse and buggy town. The H.C. Pitney Store where Jack Reagan worked was across the street from their home. The Emerson piano made in 1884 at the Oregon, IL piano factory (now Conover Square) was a center of the early 1900 activities.
