Death was caused by stomach and bowel trouble. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the residence, conducted by Rev. James Potter of Rock Falls and the little one was tenderly laid away in the Tampico cemetery. A quartette composed of Mesdames F. Buren, F. Brewer, Maggie McKenzie and Isherwood sang one selection being unable to sing any more because of the grief felt by everyone. Madge was eleven months old on the day of her death and was a beautiful little flower plucked by God for his beautiful home above. The parents are heart broken over the loss of their first and only baby and the sympathy of everyone is tendered them.
