Tampico City Limits NORTH

In 1881, J.H. Cain owned block #10, shown on this portion of the map (where all the circles are!) boundered to the North by Third Street, to the South by Second Street, the West by Lincoln Street and the East by N. Joy Street. The block was not divided into individual parcels until 1922 when it was owned by C. Aldrich. J.Cain purchased the block from Wm Guffey on Feb. 28, 1881 for $250.00. J. Cain then sold the block to John C. Aldrich on De. 19, 1881 for $1,000.00.
