DEATH OF MRS. WM. ROWE


Mrs. Wm. Rowe an aged lady and an old resident of this place died at her home in the western part of town tuesday morning about 9:40 after an llness of about six weeks duration. Death resulted from an accident which she sustained six weeks ago when she fell breaking her limb. Theunfortunate accident kept her edfast and with her avancedyears her constitution was not abl eto battle successfully and she gradually failed until the end came.


The funeral services will be held Thrusday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. Ray W. Barber adninterment will be in the Tampico cemtery.


OBITUARY


The deceased was born at Niles, Mich.. Jan 16, 1844 where she resided until she was six years old when the family removed to New York state. At teh age of twelve she moved  to Yorktown, Ilinois, with her parents where on Oct. 20, 1860 she married Wm. Rowe. The couple lived south of Yorktown for nine years when they removed to Annawa. It was at this  place that she joined the Baptist church. She resided there for nine eyars and then returned to this vicinity. three children were born of this union, one died in infancy, two survive, they are Cora Gleason of Akron, Ohio, and Lilly Tonkinson of this place. She  was also the foster mother of Earl Freeby of Earlville and Violet Resburg of Yorktown. She was one of themost faithful members of the Tampic Baptist church andone of the most hmble and devoted. She was also a member of the W. R. C. Mrs. Roe was a good woman loved and respected in this community. Mr. Rowe  passed away several years ago.
