LOREN 'OLE'  OLSON
Walnut: - Loren 'Ole" Olson, 46, of 913 Deon Marquist Drive, died Friday morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford.
 
Funeral prayer services will be 9: 45 a.m. Monday in the Garland Funeral Home, Walnut, followed by Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, Walnut, with Rev. William Harbert officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary at 3 p.m.
 
A memorial has been established.
 
Mr. Olson was born Aug. 14, 1943, in Moline, the son of Russell and Anna VanHoe Olson. He was married to Karen Heitzler on Feb. 27, 1965 in Tampico.
 
He was employed as a salesman for the Goodrich Equipment Co., in Geneseo for the past 13 years.  He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Walnut, where he was a Eucharistic minister, and a member of "The Swinging Stars" of Rock Falls. 
 
He is survived by his parents, his wife; three sons, Jeffery, Ft. Lauderdale; Dennis, at home; Darrell, Ft. Lewis, Wash.; two daughters, Connie and Linda, at home; and one brother, Ron, Tampico.
