MARK ROGER HERBON
Mark Herbon Rites Wednesday
Mark Roger Herbon, 15, 600 Ave. A., Rock Falls, was fatally injured in a one car accident on Highway 40, one mile West of Granby, Colo., early Saturday morning.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. the Allen Funeral Home in Sterling with Rt. Rev. W. D. Willoughby, rector of Grace Episcopal Church of Sterling officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home in Sterling.
Mark Herbon was born Oct. 26, 1963 in Sterling, the son of Robert L. and Helen Jeanne Bushman Herbon.
Survivors incude his father, Robert; one brother, Michael J. Herbon, Rock Falls; maternal grandmothers, Mrs. Lulu Bushman, Rock Falls; two aunts, Mrs. Beatrice Oakley, Sterling and Mrs. William (Irene) Woodring, Rock Falls, one uncle, Gordon S. Rogers, Belvidere, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother in Aug. 7, 1978, and one brother Dale Eugene.
