CLARENCE  LEAMON  ZSCHIESCHE

 

C. L. Zschiesche, Prophetstown, Dies

 

Prophetstown: - Clarence Leamon Zschiesche, 64, died Tuesday morning in the Morrison Community Hospital.

 

Clarence Zschiesche was born March 23, 1899, the son of Lewis and Anna Zschiesche, in Prophetstown. He was educated in Leon schools. He married Lilly Erickson on Jan. 12, 1927 in Prophetstown. He was a member of the Congregational Church.

 

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Robert, Greenboro, N.C., and Gordon, United States Air Force, Madison, Wis.;  a daughter, Mrs. Noah (Beverly) Germie, Tampico and seven grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one grandchild.

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday t 3 p.m. in the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Nelson Chasteen, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the Gardner Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon and evening.  A memorial is being established.
