NORA BELLE (McCombs) EGERT
Tampico: - Nora Belle Egert, 84, of 105 W. Kimball in Tampico, died Sunday evening at Morrison Skilled Care Center following a long illness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Tampico Church of Christ with her grandson, Rev. Michael Catron officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-09 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
Mrs. Egert was born on Nov. 26, 1902 in Tampico, the daughter of Alex and Florilla Morse McCombs. On Dec. 27, 1921 she was united in marriage to Ransom Egert in Davenport, Ia., and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1975.
Survivors include one son, Lowell Egert of Tampico; one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Weaver of California; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Williams of Gardena, Calif., and Mrs. Paul (Ethel) Swanson of Shingle Springs, Calif.; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two sisters and one brother.
