EVELYN  (Clegg)  MALONEY

 

Mrs. Ray Maloney Dies Wednesday

 

Tampico: - Mrs. Raymond (Evelyn) Moloney, 64, of Tampico, passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Dixon Public Hospital after an extended illness.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert P. Donovan officiating, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico.  Friends may call at the Schmitt Chapel in Tampico after 2 p.m. Friday.  The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday at the chapel by the Altar and Rosary Society and at 8 p.m. in the evening.

 

Evelyn Moloney was born Aug. 12, 1902, in Dana, the daughter of Alex and Jennis Reiley Clegg. She attended the Tampico schools.  She married Raymond Maloney Aug. 24, 1937 in Prophestown by the Rev. A. M. Weitekamp. She lived in Tampico practically all of her life. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church, Altar and Rosary Society and Royal Neighbors of America. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Tampico, and several cousins.  She was preceded by her parents.
