ESTHER  M.  (Shrock)  KROPF

 

Tampico: - Esther M. Kropf, 71, rural Tampico, died Thursday morning at her home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Fairfield Omish-Mennonite Church with Ben Hostetler and home ministers officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon and evening at the Fairfield Omish School.  Burial will be in the Fairfield Omish-Mennonite Cemetery.

 

Esther Krophf was born on Sept. 2, 1913 in Shelby County, the daughter of William and Laura Miller Shrock. On June 21, 1934 she married Raymond Kropf in Champaign County and celebrated their 50th Anniversay in June.

 

Surviving are five sons, Laurence and Harold, both of Tampico,  Leonard, Orangeville, Penn., Ivan, Littleberry, Ind., and Oran, Mena, Ark.;  two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Fern) Kropf, Buffalo, Mos., and Lovina Kropf, Mena, Ark.; 30 grandchildren; three brothers, Paul and William, Tampico, and Leo, Dixon, Mos.; and two sisters, Mrs. Allen (Viola) Kropf, Half Way, Mos., and Mrs. H. W. Lela Hostetler, Deer Grove.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers.
