CAROL  JEAN  (Moore)  HATTEN

 

Dixon: - Carol Jean Hatten, 58, of 532 Lilncoln St., Dixon, died Thursday, May 23, 1996, at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, following a brief illness.  Memorial services will be at a later date.  Cremation rites were accorded.  Arrangements were completed by Allen-Melvin Funeral Home, Sterling.  A memorial has been established.

 

Mrs. Hatten was born Dec. 18, 1937, in Sterling, the daughter of John H. and Katherine (Hague) Moore.  She married Eugene Hatten in March of 1960, in Rock Falls.  He died on Aug. 21, 1982.  She was employed as a factory worker at Edelman Division of Stant, Dixon.  She was co-vice president of the Ricky (Elvis) Scott Fan Club and a member of the Jack Carey's Muisic Team Partners Club.

 

Survivors include one son, Nicholas Fank of Debary, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother of Rock Falls; two sisters, Shirley (Terry) Eberly and Vicki (Clark) Bryant both of Rock Falls; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
