Frank G. Hewitt Dies, Services Saturday 

 

Walnut: - Frank G. Hewitt, 66, Walnut, died in Peoria early Thursday morning. He was a former auctioneer. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ross Funeral Home, Walnut, with the Rev. Ray F. Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery. 

 

Friends may visit the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday. 
 

Mr. Hewitt was born Aug. 29, 1884, in Manlius, the son of George W. and Mary L. Hewitt.  He married Gertrude Plumley in Manlius, April 5, 1906.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Ward, Walnut;  one grandson, Robert Ward, Princeton; three granddaughters, Mrs. Karla Keller, Montezuma, Ind.;  Miss Sherrie and Miss Patty Ward, both of Sterling; two great grandchildren, Robyn and Robert Jr., Princeton;  two brothers, Stacy, Manlius, and Albert, Winter Haven, Fla.;  nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded by his wife, four sisters and one brothers.
