MRS. NELLIE BEEBE
Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Bell Beebe, 91, who passed away Sunday, March 14, were held Tuesday, at the Gardner Chapel. The Rev. Paul Olson of the Prophetstown United Methodist Church officiated for the services which were held at 1 p.m. Mrs. Leland Bierman was the organist and Lloyd Wildman the soloist for the services.
Pall bearers were Lyle Van De Wostine, Gene Van De Wostine, Ernest Brooks, Rodney Brooks, Roger Dail and David Dail. Burial was in the Leon Cemetery.
Mrs. Mabel Blackert, Mrs. Frank Hadaway and the Hill Crest Greenhouse were in charge of the floral tributes. A memorial has been established in her name for the United Church.
