RICHARD MOLONEY

 

Tampico: - Richard Moloney, 70, Rt. 1, 4100 Matznick Rd., died Thursday at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

 

Prayer services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Garland Funeral home in Tampico followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Tranel, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home with a rosary at 8 p.m.

 

A memorial has been established.

 

Mr. Maloney was born Nov. 4, 1918 in Fairfield Township, the son of John and Kathryn Vogel Moloney. He married Lillian Haley on Dec. 31, 1983 in Sterling. She survives.  Mr. Moloney farmed in the Tampico area all his life and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tampico.

 

He is survived by two step-sons, Daniel Haley of Harmon and Lawrence Haley of Dixon.
