Death Summons Mrs. Swan Anderson In Prophetstown

Prophetstown, Illinois, Nov. 10 - (Special) - Mrs. Swan Anderson passed away at 3 o'clock at her home in Prophetstown Wednesday morning after a several weeks' illness. She was born November 10, 1850, in Wernano, Sweden and was united in marriage to Swan Anderson on July 17, 1874. They came to America in 1883 and settled in Bureau county, Illinois.

Nine children were born to the couple, two of whom, Augusta and Christine died in infancy.  Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband and the following children, Mrs. Charles Johnson, John, Elizabeth, Charles, Frank and Ralph Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at one o'clock Friday afternoon at the Swedish Lutheran Church in Prophetstown.  Rev. Nordale will officiate and interment will be made in Riverside cemetery.
