FLORENCE  (Egan)  SHARP


Florence (Egan) Sharp, 71, formerly of Sterling, died tuesday at the home of her daughter in Belvidere.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday with a Prayer service at 10 a.m. at the Grennan Funeral Home.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico with the Rev. Eugene Parker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico.


Florence Sharp was born on July 16, 1912, the daughter of John L. and Emma (Welch) Egan. She was educated in the local schools and taught many years in the Ogle and Whiteside County area.


Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Mary Elaine) Smith, Belvidere, and one son, John, Loves Park.
