Hold Rites Saturday For William Backer
 
Prophetstown: - Funeral services for William Backer, who died at Palmetta, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Gardner chapel. The Rev. Wesley Norton, pastor of the Coleta EUB church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
 
He was born Aug. 22, 1882, and married to Pearl Aylesworth, Dec. 14, 1904.  Survivors include his wife; one brother, George of Racine, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Allen of Watseka and Mrs. George Aylesworth of Prophetstown, and five grandchildren.  One daughter preceded him in death.
