Warren Paxton, 38, Dies In Hospital
 
Prophetstown: - Warren F. Paxton, 38, of Prophetstown, passed away Wednesday evening in the Morrison Community Hospital. He became ill suddenly while at work on his farm.
 
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Gardner Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown.
 
Warren Paxton was born May 5, 1928 in Portland Township, the son of Charles and Sylvia Egert Paxton. He was educated in the Portland school.  He married Shirley Knoll of Sterling June 9, 1965 in Fulton, and they farmed in the Portland area.
 
He is survived by his parents, wife, one son John, one and one-half years old at home; six brothers, Clifford, Darrell and Arlo all of Mount Carroll; Larry of Rock Falls; Lester of Chillicothe, Norman of Silvis and a sister, Mrs. Philip (Burdetta) Eager of Batavia.
