Miss Blackburn Services Tuesday
 
Miss Lula Blackburn, 84, formerly of 1106 Locust St., Sterling, died at the Clinton Manor Nursing Home at 4 p.m. on March 19, following a short illness.
 
The funeral will be on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Behrens Mortuary, with the Rev. Loyal Wilkensen officiating. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Miss Blackburn was born Setp. 17, 1881 at Lincoln, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blackburn.
 
She formerly opreated a Ladies' Ready to Wear Store in Sterling for many years with Golda Abbott.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
