G. E. Pierceson Sr. Succumbs Saturday
 
Glenn E. Pierceson Sr., 54, of 6736 1/2 W. Washington, Phoenix, Ariz., died at his home Saturday.
 
Funeral services will be held at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clark Devore, pastor of the Church of Christ of Tampico, officiating.  Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery in Tampico.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
 
Glenn Pierceson Sr. was born Jan. 24, 1921 in Whiteside County, the son of Art and Temple Shere Pierceson.  He was employed at Topham Trucking Co. in Phoenix, Ariz., as a truck driver.  He moved to Phoenix three years ago.
 
He is survived by one son, Glenn Pierceson Jr., of RFD 3, Sterling;  one daughter, Debbie Wiemken of Moore's Mobile Home Park in Dixon;  two grandsons;  one granddaughter;  one half-sister, Mrs. Jerry (Jan) Crenshaw of RFD 1, Rock Falls;  one half-brother,  John Pierceson of Deer Grove.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one half-brother, Harry A. Pierceson.

GLENN PIERCESON
 
Glenn E. Pierceson Sr. 54, of 6736 1/2 W. Washington, Phoenix, Ariz., died at his home Saturday.  Funeral services were held at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clark Devore, pastor of the Church of Christ of Tampico, officiating.  Burial was in Tampico Memorial Cemetery, Tampico.  Mrs. Wayne E Larson played the organ for the service.  Pallbearers were:  Clarence Jones, Howard Ackeberg, Robert Evans, Weston Krone, Jonnie M. Wyckhuys and Lawrence Williams.  Flowers are taken to the cemetery by Allen's.
