HULDA  JOSEPHINE  (Anderson) FAULK

Mrs. Emil Faulk, 62, of Prophetstown, Passes Saturday at Hospital

 Prophetstown: - Mrs. Emil Faulk, of Prophetstown, passed away Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jane Lamb Hospital, Clinton, Iowa, where she had been a patient a few days. The body reposes at the Gardner Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church, Rev. Carl A. Bengston, pastor, officiating. Committal will be in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.

 Hulda Josephine Anderson was born at Tampico Nov. 25, 1889, the daughter of Frank G. and Anna Nelson Anderson. She attended the Centerville and Garden Plain schools. She was married to Emil Faulk of Prophetstown Feb. 11, 1909 at Chicago. She lived in the Prophetstown area most of her life. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid. 

Surviving are her husband; one son, George, Prophetstown; daughter, Mrs. Amelia Smith, Champaign; brother, Elmer Anderson, Prophetstown; sister, Mrs. Minnie Olinger, Prophetstown; and two grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
