Funeral Services For Mrs. Herman Yonk To Be Conducted Friday

 Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Yonk, 55, of Yorktown who passed away Tuesday morning in the Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, following a stroke, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Yorktown with the Rev. Landgrebe officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery.  The body was taken from the Gardner Mortuary, Prophetstown, to the home late Thursday afternoon.

 Adeline Ann Yonk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Berge, was born in Yorktown Township on Dec. 24, 1896 and received her education in the Yorktown schools. She married Herman Yonk of Thomas in 1916 and spent her entire life in the Yorktown community.

 Surviving are a son Lorence H Yonk of Prophetstown; a daughter, Mrs. Orville Kuehl of Prophetstown; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Teske of Rock Falls and Mrs. Bertha Hilger of Prophetstown and one grandchild.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in September, 1950; a son Wilbur; a brother Alfred and a sister Lena.
