Rites Are Wednesday For Lon Hunt, 62

Prophetstown: - Funeral services will be held for Lon Hunt, 62, who died Oct. 22, at Eureka, Calif., in the Gardner Chapel here at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The body arrived at the Gardner Mortuary Monday evening where friends may call. The Rev. C. F. Chasteen, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery here.

Lon Hunt, son of Walker and Bertha Hamlin Hunt was born and reared in England, coming to the States at the age of 17.  He was married to Nellie Mapes of Prophetstown at Prophetstown, Nov. 1, 1915.  Surviving is the wife and two brothers, Ernest and Sidney of Chicago. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
