SHIRLIE  ANN  (Schultz)  HUNTER

Mrs. Shirlie Hunter, Tampico, Passes Away

Tampico: - Mrs. Shirlie Ann Hunter, 37,  died Tuesday morning in the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa after being ill for two years.

Mrs. Shirlie Hunter was born Aug. 2, 1927, the daughter of William and the late Esther Spotts Schultz in Tampico. She was reared and educated in the Tampico area and April 23, 1949 she married Willard Hunter, Dixon. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Linda) Chriest, Tampico; one son, Danny at home; father, William Schultz, Rock Falls; one sister, Mrs. Betty Wetzell, Tampico;  five brothers, Dean Schultz, Donald Schultz, Roger Schultz, Rock Falls; Raymond Schultz, South Dakota and Gary Schultz, Belvidere;  several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one son in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Baumeister officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schmitt Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
