Mrs. Agnes Reynolds Funeral On Monday

Prophetstown: - Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Reynolds, 88, were conducted Monday afternoon in the Gardner Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Nelson Chasteen, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial was in Leon Cemetery.

Mrs. Ellen Dingman was the organist and accompanied the soloist, Cecil Olinger, when he sang "Sometime We'll Understand" and "In the Garden."  Pallbearers were Glen Wheat Jr., Robert Wheat, Robert Reynolds, Howard Burdsall, Howard Matthews and Clarence Zschiesche.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hull and Mrs. Howard Matthews were in charge of the flowers. Agnes Jane Allen was born Aug. 25, 1872, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of William and Marsha Ballard Allen. She came to Prophetstown with her parents when she was two and one-half years old. She was educated in the Prophetstown area rural schools. She married Clifford C. Reynolds on Dec. 25, 1895.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church.

Survivors are four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Hodson, Prophetstown.  She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, one granddaughter and her parents.
