MARY ANNA  (Fritsch)  MOLONEY

Mrs. Mary Anna Moloney, Resident of Tampico 38 Years, Passes Saturday

Mary Ann Moloney of Tampico, widow of William Moloney, passed away Saturday evening at the Sterling Public Hospital where she had been a patient for six weeks. She would have been 87 years old Tuesday.

Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Tampico Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Ambrose W. Weitekamp of Prophetstown will officiate.  Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Altar and Rosary Society will attend the rites in a body.

Mrs. Moloney was born in Henry County, March 26, 1859, the daughter of Maurice and Catherine Sitler Fritsch.  She married at Atkinson Jan. 23, 1883.  Mr. Moloney passed away May 1, 1933.  She had resided in Tampico 38 years.

Surviving are one son Raymond of Tampico; six grandchildren, Mrs. Dora Wright, Chicago, Mrs. Robert Meyers, Beverly Hills, Calif., Helen, Mary Margaret and Neil Moloney, Sterling, and Richard Moloney, Tampico and two great grandchildren, Richard and Bobbie Meyers, Beverly Hills.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Mae Brainerd, and two sons, Albert W. and John D. Moloney.
