HAROLD  J.  HOOVER

Harold J. Hoover, 70, 1209 th Ave., Sterling, died Tuesday evening in his home.  Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Behrens-Blair Funeral Home in Sterling with Dr. Alfred L. Grewe officiating, with burial in Tampico Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2-4 and with the family present from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hoover was born on Oct. 25, 1909 in Sterling, the son of Ben and Myrtle Cramer Hoover.  He was united in marriage to Esther Wetzell in 1948 at the Tampico Methodist Church.  He was employed by the National Manufacturing Company for 47 years. 

Mr. Hoover is survived by his wife, Esther, one brother, Donald of Sterling and one sister, Mrs. Elwyn (Bernice) Rhode of Coleta.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  A memorial has been established in his memory.
