Heart Attack Proves Fatal  - Mrs. Anna Swanson Passes Away In Yorktown

Yorktown: - Mrs. Anna Swanson, aged 73 years, passed away at her home in Yorktown Wednesday forenoon following a heart attack. She had been ill for the past two weeks, but the the last three days had been feeling much better, until suddenly stricken with the heart attack from which she failed to rally.

Mrs. Swanson was born April 4, 1859, in Sweden. She was married to Nels Swanson, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1923. To this union eleven children were born, six of whom preceded her, namely, Hilda, Helma, and Mrs. Esther Johnson, and three sons who died in infancy.  Five children survive her, who are Swan of Clear Brook, Minnesota;  Mrs. Amanda Froid of New Lisbon, Wisconsin; Mrs. Ethel Klobes, living on the home farm about five and one half miles east of Yorktown; Mrs. Edith Whetstone of Annawan, and Mrs. Violet Yonk of Yorktown, besides several grandchildren, other relatives and a large circle of friends and neighbors, who mourn her passing.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, awaiting word from distant relatives.
