Lyell Vernon Fisk, Prophetstown, Dies

Prophetstown: - Lyell Vernon Fisk, 64, 327 W. Third St., died Sunday, May 2. 

Mr. Fisk was born October 17, 1900, in Fenton, to James Albert and Anna Lanning Fisk.  He attended Langdon schools and Brown's Business School, Sterling.  He was married to Belva Arnett, Feb. 14, 1923 in Prophetstown. They farmed for 32 years, near Lyndon, then returned to Prophetstown four years ago.  He was a member of the Methodist Church of Lyndon.

He is survived by his wife, Belva, one son, Donald of Prophetstown; two daughters, Mrs. James (Shirley) Blumhoff, and Mrs. John (Dorinna) Morse, of Lyndon; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Gardener Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown, Tuesday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Olson of the First Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in the

Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.  A memorial for the Heart Fund has been established.
