S. I. Echelbarger Succumbs In Florida
 
S. I. (Sam) Echelbarger, 98, died Monday evening at Fort Meyers, Fla., where funeral arrangements are pending.  Sam was born and raised in the Tampico-Prophetstown area and had made his home at Fort Meyers for the past 55 years. He was the son of Silas and Harriet Booth Echelbarger.
 
Survivors include one brother, Ralph, Prophetstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Clayton Hill and Mrs. Ethel Peters, both of Clinton, Iowa; several neices and nephews; including  Wayne Echelbarger, Sterling.
