Lynette Purvis

Lynette Purvis, 40, of Peoria died Jan. 14, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at First Lutheran Church, Ohio with Pastor Gene Vincent officiating. Burial will be at Van Orin Repose Cemetery. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota handled the arrangements.

Ms. Purvis was born Feb. 13, 1970 in Dixon to Roger and Linda (Molln) Purvis.

Survivors include her mother of LaMoille; one brother, Troy (Kim) Purvis of Prophetstown; two nieces, Madison and Olivia Purvis; one nephew, Ross Purvis; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Molln of Ohio; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Beulah Purvis; and her maternal grandfather, Elwood Molln.

Ms. Purvis graduated from LaMoille High School in 1988. She had lived in Polo, Sterling and Peoria. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Ohio.
