James S. Warren

PROPHETSTOWN – James S. Warren, 19, of 221 Lyndon Road, Prophetstown, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident. He was employed by Walmart Distribution Center, Sterling.

James was born July 28, 1992, in DeKalb, the son of William D. and Mary P. (Nolan) Warren.

Survivors include his mother of Prophetstown; his father of Louisville, Ky.; three brothers, Bo Warren of Annawan, Michael Warren of Richlands, N.C., and Thomas Warren of Prophetstown; and his maternal grandfather, Edward Nolan of Brooklyn, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David, in infancy.
 Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home, 320 Lafayette St., Prophetstown. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Leon Cemetery, Prophetstown.

A memorial has been established to Prophetstown Food Pantry.
