BILLY  FRITSCH
 
Honolulu, HI: - Col. Billy Fritsch, 51, died Thursday in a military hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, following a long illness.  Funeral services were held in Hawaii.
 
Billy Fritsch was born on Nov. 20, 1931.  He was a pilot in the Marines for 30 years and flew oveer 300 combat missions in the Vietnam war.  Since retiring, he has been a pilot with Royal Hawaiian Airlines in Hawaii.
 
Surviving are his wife; one son, Billy Jr.; three step children; his mother Mayme Buchanan, Rock Falls; two brothers, Elder Fritsch, Rock Falls and Gary Fritsch, Tampico; one sister, Nyla Croy, Sterling.
 
Preceding him in death were his father, Cecil of Tampico and one sister, Donna Roth, Belleville.
