HELEN  L.  (Rosene) RANK

Sterling:  - Helen L. Rank, 66, of 1700 39th Ave., Sterling, died Oct. 16, 1991, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, following a long illness.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Allen Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Rev. Thomas Petty, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Sterling. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery, Tampico.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Allen Funeral Home, Sterling.  A memorial has been established.

Mrs. Rank was born Aug. 8, 1925 in Tampico, the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Johnson) Rosene.  She married Ronald I. "Doc" Rank Dec. 31, 1946 at Tampico Methodist Church. She had been employed at Woolworth's in DeKalb, was secretary at School District #21 in Wheeling, and had worked at Green River Ordinance Plant.  She was a member of the Kingswood Methodist Church in Buffalo Grove and the Sterling Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Lorelei) Schatti, Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. Jeff (Suzanne) Blackwell, Delafield, Wis.; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Blanche Rosene and Mrs. Henry (Etta Mae) Tufte, both of Polo; and a number of nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by one grandson, and three sisters.
