FULTON, Ill. — Patricia E. Wiebenga, 67, of Fulton, died Friday, January 30, 2009, at her home. 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Stephan, pastor of Second Reformed Church in Fulton, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. 

Memorials will be established.

She was born June 17, 1941, in Morrison, IL, to John O. and Bessie E. (Wright) Engelkens. 

Pat was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and attended Tampico High School. 

She married Jerry D. Wiebenga on March 30, 1957, in Fulton, IL; he died January 23, 1998. 

She was employed by the former A.C. Nielsen’s Clearing House, Clinton, IA. She then was employed by General Electric, Morrison, IL, for 30 years until her retirement. 

She was a member of the Fulton American Legion Auxiliary and Clinton AMVETS. She collected bears and enjoyed attending the athletic events of her grandchildren. She also accompanied her late husband as he refereed high school athletic events. 

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl (Warren) Juist of Fulton, IL; one son, Rod (Terri) Wiebenga of Barnegat, NJ; four grandchildren, Jeremy Wiebenga, Andy Wiebenga; Sarah Juist, Alex Juist; two sisters, Shirley (Dave) Foy of Rock Island, IL, and Karen (Jeff) Hostens of Sherrard, IL; one brother, John (Janet) Engelkens of Morrison, IL; and one brother-in-law, John Wiebenga of Rock Falls, IL. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; and one brother, David Engelkens.
