GENESEO – Margaret E. Johnson, 94, of Hammond-Henry Extended Care in Geneseo, formerly of Tampico, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Hammond-Henry. She was a homemaker.
 
Margaret was born Jan. 24, 1918, in Williamsport, Pa., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chrisop. She married Frederick W. Johnson on Dec. 17, 1936, in Geneseo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1989.
 
Survivors include one son, Donald (Janice) Johnson of Moline; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Norman, and three brothers.
 
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the funeral at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. Burial will be at Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery in New Bedford.
 
A memorial has been established.

GENESEO — Margaret E. Johnson, 94, of Hammond-Henry Extended Care in Geneseo, formerly of Tampico, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Hammond-Henry.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. Burial will be in the Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery in New Bedford.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
