Tampico - Hazel R. Lou age 94, of Davenport, Florida, formerly of Tampico, Illinois died on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Crossroads Nursing Davenport, Florida. 


She was born on October 11, 1917 in Turner, Montana, the daughter of Perry and Gertrude (Rose) Nelson. She was united in marriage to Ernest Lou on December 11, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1993. 
She worked for General Electric in Morrison, Illinois, retiring in 1968. 


Hazel is survived by two sons Gary Lou of Davenport, Florida, Duane Lou of Rock Falls, Illinois; three grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, one brother and one grandson. 


Graveside services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. in Walnut Cemetery with Rev. Ron Eckberg, pastor of Erie Evangelical Free Church. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent to: www.garlandfuneralhome.com . Arrangements have been completed by Garland Funeral Home Tampico, Illinois.
