Mrs. Harry Marshang Passes Away Monday – Mrs. Harry (Vera) Marshang, 63, of 511, 11th Ave., Sterling, passed away at the family home Monday morning.

The body was removed to the Allen Funeral Home where funeral arrangements will be announced.

DEATHS & FUNERALS

Mrs. Harry Marshang Sterling, Passes Away – Mrs. Harry (Vera) Marshang of 522 11th Ave., Sterling, passed away at their home Monday morning at the age of 63.

Mrs. Marshang was born Jan. 11, 1897 in Rock Falls, the daughter of John and Katherine Miller.

Vera Miller was united in marriage September of 1915 at Morrison to Harry Marshang. The couple resided their entire married life in Sterling.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Helen) McNeil and Mrs. Arnold (Jeanne) Burch, both of sterling; one son, Lyle, also of Sterling; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents and one brother, Carl.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home with Rev. C. A. Chamberlin, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Sterling, officiating, with burial in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.

Mrs. Harry Marshang Rites on Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Vera) Marshang were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Allen Funeral Hoe, with the Rev. C. A. Chamberlin, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Roscoe Eades was at the organ for the services. Burial was in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.

The Pallbearers were “Arthur Burch, George Doden, John David, Percy Do**er, Vernon Harden and Fred Dahlgren, Flowers were taken care of by Mrs. Vernon Harden, Mrs. Lloyd Good and Ronald Rosene.

Relatives were in attendance from Chicago.
