Becky L. WilliamsBecky LWilliams, 61, of Prophetstown, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was a secretary for the City of Prophetstown for several years, retiring January 1.

 

Born December 15, 1951 in Morrison, she was the daughter of Paul and Rena (Lott) Mannon. On July 31, 1971 she was united in marriage to Roger Williamsin Prophetstown.

Becky was a member of the Prophetstown Main Street and First Congregational Church in Prophetstown where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed singing, making crafts including posters with her CRICUT program, reading and interior decorating. She loved spending time with her canine companion, Baxter. Becky's world was her grandchildren whom she adored and cherished.

Surviving are her husband, Roger of Prophetstown; 2 daughters, Tiffni Williams of Chicago and Kili (Mike) Bielema of Dunlap; a son, Roger Williams, Jr. of Prophetstown; a sister Paula Mannon of Plainfield; her mother Rena of Prophetstown and2 grandchildren, Brady and Adison Bielema; and her mother in law Nova Schultz of Vero Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her father Paul and her grandmother Marge Mathis, grandparents Art and Pearl Lott and her step father in law Bob Schultz.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday, January 25 at McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown. The funeral will be at 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain Bill Cordes officiating.
