Alice Mae Kropf, daughter of Ova and Clara (Unzicker) Hosterler was born April, 9, 1924 in Shelbyville, Illinois. She peacefully passed away at her home on October 12, 2012 at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 3 days.

In her youth she accepted Christ as herSavior, was baptised on October 12, 1936 at Shelbyville, Illinois and was a faithful member of the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church.

On January 30, 1944 she was united in marriage to Amos Kropf, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2005. They enjoyed the joys and sorrows of married life for over 61 years.

Surviving are 2 daughters and 5 sons: Rosanna (Mrs. Harold Kropf) of Tampico, IL; Barbara (husband Ron Hostetler, deceased) of Nashville, AR; Marion and wife Dorothy of Hotchiss, CO; Arden and wife Jeanette; Edward and wife Judy, both of Seymour, MO; Steve and wife Connie, Irvin and wife June, both of Tampico, IL. Also 43 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; 4 borthers, Robert Hostetler and wife Virnigina of Richland Center, WI; Sam Hostetler and wife Jean of Berryville, AR; John Hostetler and wife Leona of Buffalo, MO; Clfford Hostetler and wife Eunice of Berryville, AR; 3 sisters, Sadie (Mrs. Edward Headings) of Creston, IA; Ruth (Mrs. Ernest Blosser) of Tampico, IL; Naomi (Mrs. Eldon Shrock) of Berryville, AR; one sister-in-law; Ruth Hostetler of Clarksville, AR.

She was preceded in death by one stillborn daughter, Anna Marie, one son-in-law, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 1 great-granddaughter, 1 great-great-grandson, her parents, one brotehr and one sister.

She was in declining health for some years and was lovingly cared for by her family until her pasing. Son Irvin, wife and family who lived close by, spent many hours seeing to her needs and faithfully caring for her. The family wishes to thank everyone for your prayers, visits and faithful loving support. Also a special thanks to all the ladies who attended her weekly tea parties, which was a special day she looked forward to every week.
