TAMPICO TORNADO

CHARLES N. COVEY DIED LAST SATURDAY
Mr. Charles N. Covey passed away at his home in Denver, Colorado, last Saturday after an illness of short duration. The remains were brought here Tuesday night and funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 24, at the Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. F T. Palm.
 
Mr. Covey was quite well known here, having frequently visited at the C. D Love home in recent years. Mr. Covey has the sympathy of her many friend and former neighbors in her bereavement.

BODY WILL BE TAKEN TO TAMPICO FOR BURIAL
A message has been received by Tampico relatives of the death of Charles N. Covey of Denver, Colo. on last Saturday. Mr. Covey was the husband of Mrs. Mae (Love) Covey, formerly of Tampico, and a sister of Claude and Arlie Love.
 
The remains will be brought to Tampico Wednesday evening by the way of Sterling, accompanied by Mrs. Covey. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Tampico M.E. church and burial will be in the Tampico Cemetery.
