Julia L. "Julie" Dail

ERIE – Julia “Julie” L. Dail, 69, of Erie, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Windsor Manor Assisted Living in Morrison. She taught high-school English in Tampico.

Julie was born April 12, 1945. in Dubuque, Iowa, to Arthur and Gwendolyn (Jellison) Bohn. She married Max T. Dail on Sept. 3, 1966, in Dubuque. Julie was an active member of Erie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; children, Todd and Rebecca Dail of Erie, Becky Dail-Olvera and Beto Olvera, both of Fenton; two granddaughters, Andrea Mae Dail and Isabella Mae Olvera; and a sister, Jeraldine Clewell of Moline.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Caroline Ann in infancy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home in Erie. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Erie United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Kingsbury Cemetery in rural Erie.

Memorials have been established to Erie United Methodist Church and Erie Public Library.
