HELEN JOYNT, 84 PASSES AWAY ON FEBRUARY 10

Helen Joynt, 84, of Dixon, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Serenty Hospice & Home in Oregon.

Helen was born July 11, 1930, in Tampico, the daughter of Clyde and Mildred (Frank) Denison. She married Lester Joynt on March 5, 1949 in Chicago.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Joynt of Dixon; one daughter, Connie Seitz of Oregon; two sons, Mike (Karen) Joynt of Sterling, Mark (Kristin) Joynt of Dixon; one sister, Terry (George) Blackert of Prophetstown; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Joynt; her parents; two brothers, two sisters; one son-in-law, Robert Seitz.

Visitation was from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, February 14, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, followed by an 11 a.m., funeral service at the funeral home. Burial was at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon.

A memorial has been established to the Ladies Auxiliary of Dixon Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #779
