Tribute & Message From The Family

PROPHETSTOWN - Nicole Elizabeth VanDeVelde 26 of Prophetstown Il. went to be with her loved ones in heaven on August 22, 2015, after being involved in a car accident.

Nicole was a beautiful young woman inside and out. Her smile alone would help brighten even the darkest days. She had a kind soul, loving spirit and a softness about her that drew people in. Nicole loved her family and friends immensely. She had many special friends who were like "sisters". Her pride and joy was her son Parker Allen Lindskog who shares the same spark in his blue eyes as his mother did.

Nicole left behind her son, her parents, Kevin and Shari VanDeVelde, brother Wesley (Amanda) VanDeVelde, nieces, Lacey, and Kayleigh and a nephew Weston. Many aunts and uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Those welcoming Nicole to heaven are both sets of paternal grandparents, an uncle, her Godmother and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 29, 2015 from 1-4 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 46 Grove Street – Rt 78 North in Prophetstown, with the funeral services following at 4 PM.
