PROPHETSTOWN – Marjorie M. Mills, 80, of Clinton, Iowa, formerly of Prophetstown, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at The Alverno in Clinton.
 
She was born July 8, 1935, in Sterling, a daughter of Ernest and Sarah (Evans) Schultz. She married Billy Mills on Nov. 25, 1966, in Sterling. He preceded her in death in 1995.
 
Survivors include her daughter, Valorie (Gerald) Armstrong of Prophetstown; four sons, Michael (Debbie) Miller of LaSalle, Robert Miller of Seattle, Randy Miller of Texas, and Billy (Beverly) Mills of Colona; a sister, Emma “Tina” Quimby of Mount Morris; a brother, Ernest Schultz of Sterling; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
 
She also was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, a granddaughter, a brother, and three sisters.
 
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling with Elizabeth Hurd, chaplain, officiating. McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown is handling arrangements.
 
A memorial has been established to Northern Illinois Cancer Treatment Center, 327 state Route 2, Dixon, IL 61021.
